GENERAL CONTRACTOR, OWNER
Dana Pearsall is the 3rd generation in her family with a career in residential and commercial construction. Her Grandfather, Elbert Rawls, was a master carpenter and custom home builder in Williamston, NC. Her father, Phil Rawls, was a designer and developer of nursing homes projects throughout North Carolina and is now the Project Coordinator for Pear Design Build.
Dana began in Interior Design with a focus on the best of materials with the least amount of fuss. She feels that fine woods, fabrics, and the positioning of design elements lead to a comfortable environment and reflect the personality of her clients.
Creating these spaces led to Dana's interest in going deeper into the structural aspect of a home. She found that achieving a beautiful flow actually began from the outside in, where the positioning of walls, common areas, private spaces, and lighting sources are where great design actually begins.
Dana Pearsall is a state licensed general contractor in the Palm Beach area with 25 years in real estate and design. This makes her uniquely qualified to approach your project with an eye on how design and construction choices create a solid investment and add to the enjoyment of your property.

Is love a fancy or a feeling...or perfect lighting?
Whether illuminating residential or commercial spaces, my formula is the same: Wrap the space in one temperature and accent in the other.
Commercial spaces can feel too spacious for cool temp lighting, so I fill them with warm 2800-3000K lumens, and spotlight merchandise in cooler temps of 4000K for "look at me" lighting.
For residential spaces, I flip it and reduce the difference by using 3500K in dimmable overhead lighting, but warm the room with incandescent or warm temp LEDs for chandeliers, lamps and sconces.

Here’s a kitchen design I’m working on for a new client. She’s given me free rein to do whatever I like. I happen to be a function-over-form kinda gal, but I think this is looking like I went for beauty first!
Considering I only have a 14” wide turn on the opening to the dining room (far right), I had to come up with a 12” deep cabinet that could stand alone. So I thought, why stand it...just float it!
